Indy Evo
Indy Evo
Follow these steps if your Skullcandy Indy Evo earbuds are not pairing correctly.
Before you begin
Make sure both earbuds are charged. If the earbuds have already been paired before, remove Indy Evo from your phone’s Bluetooth list before resetting and pairing again.
Remove Indy Evo from Bluetooth
On your phone, open the Bluetooth settings and remove or forget Indy Evo from the paired devices list.
Remove the earbuds and power them off
Remove both earbuds from the charging case.
Touch and hold both earbuds for around 6 seconds to manually power them off.
Reset both earbuds
Once both earbuds have powered off, touch and hold each earbud for around 10 seconds to completely reset them.
This will power cycle them on and off again.
Place both earbuds back in the case
Put both earbuds back into the charging case until both LEDs show red.
Once both LEDs show red, pull the earbuds back out.
Wait for the earbuds to sync
Both earbuds should automatically power on. The LEDs will flash blue while they sync to each other.
You should hear a tone when the sync is successful.
Wait for pairing mode
Only the left earbud should begin flashing red and blue. This means the earbuds are ready to pair with your device.
Select Indy Evo on your phone
Turn on Bluetooth on your device and look for Indy Evo in the available Bluetooth devices list.
Make sure it only appears once, then select it.
For Android devices, tap + Pair New Device, then select Indy Evo.
Accept the pairing request
Select all Pair and OK prompts that appear on your screen.
Once successfully paired, you should hear a voice prompt saying connected.
Check your paired devices list
After pairing, Indy Evo may appear twice in your paired devices list. This is normal for this model once pairing has completed successfully.
