Your Vodafone HH500V GigaCube 5G Router has been pre-configured for auto-detection and improved compatibility.
We have applied enhanced settings to improve connection reliability and help the router automatically reconnect after power loss. This should help the router connect to UK networks more easily.
Quick Setup Guide
1. Insert your SIM card
Make sure the router is switched off.
Insert your SIM card into the SIM card slot.
2. Power on the router
Connect the power adaptor to the router.
Plug the adaptor into the mains and switch the router on.
3. Allow the router time to connect
Wait around 1 to 2 minutes while the router detects the SIM card and connects to the network.
Some SIMs or networks may take longer on first use.
4. Connect your devices
Once the Wi-Fi indicator lights up, the router is online.
You can now connect your phone, tablet, laptop or other devices to the router’s Wi-Fi network.
Important Information
Please do not factory reset the router.
A factory reset will remove the pre-applied settings.
Please do not update the firmware.
A firmware update may remove the configuration we have applied.
Please do not change the APN settings.
The router has already been set to auto-detect the correct APN for your SIM/network.
What to Expect
The router should automatically detect your network and apply the correct APN settings.
If the router loses power, it should automatically reconnect to the internet once powered back on.
It may take a few minutes, or a power cycle, for the router to detect the SIM and connect.
Some SIM cards or networks may take longer to connect on first use.
