How to Pair Your Samsung Watch

Follow these steps to pair your Samsung Galaxy Watch with your Android phone.

!

Before you begin

Make sure your Samsung Watch is charged, your Android phone is nearby, Bluetooth is switched on, and the Galaxy Wearable app is installed.

1

Turn on the watch

Press and hold the power button until the Samsung logo appears.

2

Open the Galaxy Wearable app

Open the Galaxy Wearable app on your Android phone. iPhones are not compatible.

If you do not have it, download Galaxy Wearable from the Google Play Store or Galaxy Store.

3

Tap Start or Add new device

The app should search for nearby Samsung watches.

4

Select your Galaxy Watch

Tap your watch when it appears in the list.

5

Check the pairing code

A code should appear on both the phone and the watch. If the codes match, tap Pair or Confirm.

6

Allow permissions

The app may ask for access to Bluetooth, notifications, contacts, calls and location. Allow these so the watch can work properly.

7

Sign in and finish setup

Follow the on-screen steps to sign in to your Samsung or Google account, restore a backup if available, and choose your settings.

8

Test the connection

Once setup is complete, check that the watch shows as connected in the Galaxy Wearable app.
