Firestick Remote Pairing
Follow these steps if your Fire TV remote is not pairing with your Firestick.
Before you begin
Make sure your Firestick is powered on, your remote has fresh batteries, and the remote is close to the Firestick.
Insert fresh batteries
Remove the old batteries from the Fire TV remote and insert a fresh set.
Move the remote close to the Firestick
Hold the remote near your Firestick while pairing. This helps the device detect the remote properly.
Hold the Home button
Press and hold the Home button on the remote for around 10 to 15 seconds.
Unplug the Firestick
If the remote still has not paired, unplug the Firestick from its power source for 60 seconds.
Reset the remote
While the Firestick is unplugged, hold the Left, Menu and Back buttons at the same time for 15 seconds.
Reconnect and pair again
Remove the batteries, plug the Firestick back in, put the batteries back in, then hold the Home button for 10 seconds.
